The reciter: And Muhammad ibn Hatim narrated to me, saying: Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, saying: Ibn Jurayj informed us, saying: 'Abdah ibn Abi Lababah informed me that Warrad, the freed slave of al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, said: Al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah wrote to Mu'awiyah. Warrad wrote that letter for him: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say when he concluded the prayer, similar to the narration of the two of them, except for the phrase 'and He is over all things competent,' for that was not mentioned."
