Explanation of the Book of Hajj-07b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, Khalid narrated to us from Ikrimah from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba while riding a camel, and whenever he came in front of the Corner, he pointed towards it (with something). طاف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالبيت على بعير كلما أتى على الركن أشار إليه
Sahih al-Bukhari 1612

The Shaykh : His statement
Whenever he came to the Corner كلما أتى على الركن
Sahih al-Bukhari 1632
indicates that the Yemeni Corner is not pointed to. The Yemeni Corner does not involve kissing, nor does it involve pointing when one is unable to touch it. What is done with it is only touching it if it is easy, without saying takbir. If it is not easy, a person walks past it as usual.
