What is the meaning of "he sprinkled on him from his wudu"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His statement:
He sprinkled on him from his wudu نضح عليه من وضوءه
from the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) surplus, or from what remained?

The Shaykh : His statement:
Then he sprinkled on me from his wudu ثم نضح علي من وضوءه
means from the water with which he performed wudu. It is possible that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) sprinkled on him when he washed one of his limbs, sprinkling on him like this, meaning he shook it off on him. It is also possible that he scooped water with his hand and then sprinkled it, and this is the most likely.
