What is the ruling on entering the bathroom with a tape on which the Noble Qur'an has been recorded?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Noble Shaykh, what is the ruling on entering the bathroom with a tape on which the Noble Qur'an has been recorded?

The Shaykh : There is nothing wrong with entering the bathroom while carrying a tape on which some of the Qur'an has been recorded. This is because the letters are not discernible on the tape; only the sound is discernible when the tape passes through the device that plays the sound. Therefore, there is no harm in a person having tapes containing the Qur'an, hadith, or other things with him and entering the place of relief with them.
