What is the ruling on listening to Islamic nasheed tapes that have a melody like songs?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.

The Shaykh : Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

The questioner : We find that some Islamic nasheed tapes have a melody.

The Shaykh : A melody or a composed tune?

The questioner : A composed tune.

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly.

The questioner : Like, for example, it resembles songs, some recordings?

The Shaykh : What I see is that composing a tune for permissible nasheeds, if it is like the tunes of songs, I mean: the songs of singers, is forbidden, because it is imitating what is not permissible. Also, if these nasheeds are composed by men whose voices are beautiful and attractive, and there is a fear of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) from them, then they are not permissible because of the fitnah that is feared from them. Yes, that is right.
