And Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm and ʿAbd ibn Ḥumayd narrated it to us, and they said: ʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm and ʿAbd ibn Ḥumayd narrated it to us, and they said: ʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us, and he said: Maʿmar informed us. And ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Dārīmī narrated it to us, and Abū al-Yamān informed us, and Shuʿayb informed us from al-Zuhrī, with this same chain of narration.

The Shaykh : This is if the deceased has died. The scholars said: It is recommended that his clothes be removed, but only after something is placed over his private parts to cover them, because leaving his clothes on him may lead to heat in the body and bring it closer to decomposition. So the clothes are removed, and then he is covered until the time for washing him arrives, as was done with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
