Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Yahya ibn Yahya, 'Amr al-Naqqad, and Ishaq ibn Ibrahim all narrated to us from al-Mu'tamir, and the wording is that of Yahya. Al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us from Ayub, who narrated from Abu al-Khalil, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith, from Umm al-Fadl, who said:
An Arab man entered upon the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in my house and said, "O Prophet of Allah, I had a wife, and then I married another woman. My first wife claimed that she breastfed my new wife once or twice." The Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "One or two sucklings do not establish a prohibition."
'Amr said in his narration from 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith ibn Nawfal.
