(Note) Know that the Salaf’s interpretation of the oneness of Allah the Exalted with His creation, namely that He is with them by His knowledge, does not imply limiting it to knowledge alone; rather, this oneness also entails His encompassing them by hearing, sight, power, management, and the like of the meanings of His lordship.

The Shaykh :"Note: Know that the Salaf’s interpretation of the oneness of Allah the Exalted with His creation, namely that He is with them by His knowledge, does not imply limiting it to knowledge alone; rather, this oneness also entails His encompassing them by hearing, sight, power, management, and other meanings of His lordship. I have mentioned to you that among those who said this were Ibn Kathir in his tafsir and Ibn Rajab (may Allah have mercy on him).
Another Note: I previously indicated that the exaltation of Allah the Exalted is established by the Book, the Sunnah, reason, the innate natural disposition, and scholarly consensus.
As for the Book, its evidence for this varies:
Sometimes by the wording of exaltation, being above, rising above the Throne, and being in the sky"
.
How many are these? Four: exaltation, being above, rising above the Throne, and being in the sky.
"As He the Exalted said:
And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
This is evidence of exaltation.
And He is the subjugator over His servants
[Al-An'am 6:18]
Being above.
The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established.
[Taha 20:5]
Rising above the Throne.
Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you
[Al-Mulk 67:16]
Being in the sky.
Sometimes by the wording of things ascending, rising, and being raised to Him, as in His saying, the Exalted:
To Him ascends good speech
[Fatir 35:10]
To Him ascends
"
So where is He? Above. "
The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him
[Al-Ma'arij 70:4]
Like the first.
[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to إذ قال الله يا عيسى إني متوفيك ورافعك إلي
[Ali 'Imran 3:55]
Raising things to Him.
Sometimes by the wording of things descending from Him and the like, as He the Exalted said:
Say, [O Muhammad], "The Pure Spirit has brought it down from your Lord قل نزله روح القدس من ربك
[An-Nahl 16:102]
And He said:
He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth
[As-Sajdah 32:5]
And descent does not occur except from above"
.
