Explanation of the author's statement: "1- A false claim, such as claiming consensus on his view, or that it is the verified truth, or that it is the view of the verified scholars"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We remain with the doubts they claim are rational, when they are not rational but rather delusions.
For example, they say, and mostly rely on what follows: a false claim, meaning: they make a claim, but it is not correct, it is invalid, such as: claiming consensus on their view, so he says: The people of truth have agreed on such and such. The people of truth have agreed?! And he leaves the Salaf and those who followed them on the left side.
Now, who hears the word: The people of truth have agreed on such and such, what will he say? He will say: Contradicting consensus is disbelief, so it is not permissible for us to contradict this consensus, as long as the people of truth have agreed.
And in reality, the people of truth have agreed on the opposite of that, but he claims, he claims this thing, either it meets a heart empty of knowledge, so this phrase becomes confusing to him and he accepts it, or it meets a conscious heart that knows the falsehood.
Or he says: This is the verified truth, or this is the view of the verified scholars.
Now, the one who reads the book and does not know the opposing school of thought, what does he think? That is it, as long as this is the verified truth from this author, he accepts it, or the view of the verified scholars, he also accepts it, do you understand?
If you say: This phrase also exists in the speech of the Salaf, and they say: This is the verified truth, and this is the truth, and this is what the Companions agreed upon, and the like of that, so they say you also claimed what we claimed, so what do we do?
We say: Between us and you is the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, so please? And it is not true that our claim against you is like your claim against us.
But we say: The reference in this is to the speech of Allah and the speech of His Messenger, and let us look at who is more deserving of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
Or he says about his opponent's view: That it contradicts consensus, so he says for example about the school of the Salaf: That this contradicts the consensus of the people of verification, or the people of truth, or contradicts the consensus of the rational people, and the like of that.
So the first claim is to establish his view, and the second claim is to negate the view of others and refute it.
And despite that, they are false claims with no basis of validity.
