Forms of supplication after bowing, "O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise," and clarification that there is no harm in an imam affiliating with a specific school of jurisprudence

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We comment on this: First: The hadith
O Allah! our Lord, unto Thee be praise اللهم ربنا لك الحمد
Sahih Muslim 476b
has passed to us, and this dhikr in it has four forms: O Allah
Our Lord, to You is the praise ربنا لك الحمد
and with the waw it means
Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O Allah, our Lord and to You be the praise) اللهم ربنا ولك الحمد
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1060Sahih (Darussalam)
and
Our Lord, to You is the praise ربنا لك الحمد
and with the waw, so the forms are four forms.
The second says: "And among our companions," meaning Shaykh al-Islam (may Allah have mercy on him) and his companions are the Hanbalis. In this is evidence that there is no harm in a person affiliating with the school of a specific imam, even if Allah the Exalted has given him knowledge, understanding, and insight. There is no blame in affiliating with a specific imam and studying jurisprudence according to his rules and principles. However, if the evidence becomes clear to him, he follows it. And if he follows the evidence in one or two or ten issues out of hundreds or thousands of issues, he is not considered as not affiliating with the school he claimed. For this reason, we find the great imams, the great jurists, we find that they affiliate with the schools: Shaykh al-Islam, Ibn al-Qayyim, al-Nawawi, Ibn Hajar, and many others, great scholars who affiliate with the schools or one of the four schools. This is not considered a defect or a departure from the path of the Salaf, contrary to what some people now think, that studying jurisprudence according to a specific school means fanaticism for the school. This is wrong. It is true that fanaticism for the school and distorting the texts in order to conform to the school is a great error. But my studying jurisprudence according to a specific school, building my jurisprudence on its rules and principles, but if the evidence becomes clear to me, I take the evidence, this is absolutely fine. The prohibited thing is fanaticism. Yes. Are there questions?
The student: No, O Shaykh, five more minutes.

The Shaykh : Five minutes, okay.
