The questioner : In his letter, he says: I am a young man, and what is called "youthful pimples" often appear on the faces of young people. Sometimes I put my hand on them, and some drops of blood come out. Do these drops invalidate the ablution? May Allah guide you.

The Shaykh : They do not invalidate the ablution. These drops do not invalidate the ablution, nor are they ritually impure; rather, they are pure and do not harm you. Know, O questioner, that anything that appears from the body, such as blood, pus, or anything else, does not invalidate the ablution unless it comes out from the two passages, the front or the back. If you get a wound, or if your nose bleeds, or if blood comes from a tooth or something similar, and blood comes out, even if it is a lot, your ablution remains valid and is not invalidated. This is the correct position, because there is no evidence that this invalidates the ablution, and the original state is the continuation of purity.
As for what comes out from the two passages, it is an invalidator, and there is no doubt in that.

The questioner : Yes, may Allah reward you. Is there anyone else?

The Shaykh : ... .

The questioner : May Allah reward you.
