Warning about the danger of some Muslim women weeping and mourning for the death of the disbelieving woman "Diana"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In any case, what the author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned is something we have encountered in these past two weeks in the story of the disbelieving woman. Yes, I do not like to mention her name on this pulpit, as it has reached me that some women, even in schools, are weeping for her and shedding tears. This is undoubtedly a type of hypocrisy, and the person who honors her to this extent is in danger regarding his religion. It is obligatory to make it clear to people that this is one of the greatest evils and a type of the turning away that Allah mentioned in
And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people. ومن يتولهم منكم فأولئك هم الظالمون
[Al-Ma'idah 5:51]
What did this woman do for humanity? All she did was serve Christianity. She did not come to the charitable associations in Islamic countries to support them. So, it is my right over you, and the right of your Muslim brothers over you, to make this clear to people so that people do not rush to be loyal to disbelievers while they do not know. A disbelieving woman died upon disbelief, and tears are shed for her or poems are composed about her. Undoubtedly, this is a deficiency in faith and a deficiency in character as well. This is what the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: those who honor Abu Jahl. Abu Jahl is known for his lordship in his people, his bravery, and the matters for which he is praised in terms of being humanitarian. 'Abdullah ibn Abi is also known for his lineage, his leadership, his honor in his people, and his authority over them. Whoever honors these people because of these things has hypocrisy in his heart without a doubt and is in great danger.
Therefore, it is obligatory for students of knowledge to make it clear to people. Do not let the ignorant newspapers carry out this great propaganda while our brothers do not make it clear to people. It must be made clear to people in gatherings and in every place, unless its fitnah is extinguished, then let its fire be extinguished. But as long as the matter remains, it must be made clear. If it were not for her dying this death, and if it were not for the propaganda she received on foreign radio stations, she would have been like any other woman. May Allah guide us among those He has guided. Yes.
