Is it permissible to cite weak hadiths in the virtues of actions, and does the one who acts upon them receive merit and reward?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. Is it permissible to worship Allah based on a weak hadith if it is in the context of encouraging good, warning against evil, and the virtues of actions?

The Shaykh : The scholars of hadith said: It is permissible to use weak hadiths as evidence with three conditions:
That it has a basis.
And the second: That the weakness is not severe.
And the third: That one does not believe it is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Yes, it is valid, because it motivates a person to act. If what is mentioned is achieved, that is the goal. If it is not achieved, he is still commanded to perform this act. For example, if weak hadiths come regarding the virtue of congregational prayer, we say: There is good in this. You act, hoping that this report is authentic. If it is authentic, you have achieved what it indicated. If it is not authentic, you have lost nothing. Likewise, warnings, for example, against riba (usury or interest) or similar matters, where weak hadiths have been reported.

The questioner : ... the general public, the general public do not distinguish ... ?

The Shaykh : This is all permissible. Keep it in mind. Everything is permissible, but if it entails harm, it is prohibited. So, if the general public consider everything mentioned in this pulpit to be correct, whether it is weak or fabricated, this issue must be taken into account.

The questioner : Based on this, O Shaykh, is it permissible for us to inform people about weak hadiths, or not?

The Shaykh : You say, it is necessary to clarify. You say: It is narrated from the Messenger.
