Is it correct to describe Allah as being neither on the right nor on the left?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: ...

The Shaykh : No, it is not correct to say that He is not on the right or on the left. However, He described Himself with what is better than this, because if one says: "There is no right and no left," the attribute becomes a negative attribute. But if one says:
And He is the Most High وهو العلي
, the right and the left are negated by an affirmative attribute, not by a negative one. The affirmative attribute is more perfect than the negative attribute, because the implication of the negative attribute regarding affirmation is an implication of commitment, which a denier may deny and not commit to.
