regarding the difference in creed with the Shi'ah and the ruling for a student of knowledge concerning that

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: ... the difference between us and the Shi'ah?

The Shaykh : No, the Shi'ah's disagreement is distinct from that of the people of the Sunnah and the community. The disagreement of the Shi'ah with the people of the Sunnah is not like the disagreement of the Shafi'is with the Malikis, for example. No, rather it is a great difference, a difference in the foundation of creed. For example, among the foundations of the Shi'ah's creed is that they have leaders whom they call the Imams, and they claim that some of these Imams know the unseen and manage the universe, and that some of their Imams reach a station that neither a close angel nor a sent prophet reaches, meaning the station of Lordship. This is something with which we cannot agree under any circumstances. Some of them curse the Companions in general, except for a few, and some of them curse Abu Bakr and 'Umar and say: "They died upon hypocrisy." The strange thing is that I saw in a book by Ibn Hazm (may Allah have mercy on him) "Al-Milal wa al-Nihal" that I saw Shi'ah who declare 'Ali a disbeliever and declare Abu Bakr a disbeliever, both of them. As for Abu Bakr, they say: because he wronged by taking the caliphate. And as for 'Ali, he was negligent in what was obligatory upon him. Why did he not prevent Abu Bakr? So that one is an aggressor and this one is negligent, and both are disbelievers. Who remains? Nothing remains but to say: Why did not the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) appoint him from the beginning and cut off the dispute? It is a strange thing. But the disagreement between the Malikis, the Shafi'is, the Hanbalis, the Hanafis, and the like of them, this is not a disagreement. In reality, it is not a disagreement, except for a person who is fanatical, we say: this is the truth, and he says: no, ... I say: these people, it is not possible to agree with them, but agreement with the Malikis, the Shafi'is, and the Hanbalis is possible.
