Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Well, on this occasion, have you heard anything about our brother Mahmud 'Atiyyah?
The student : Yes, Shaykh, I have heard of him.

The Shaykh : Can you attend his gatherings or hear his words?
The student : No, he is in a different emirate.

The Shaykh : Well, is there anyone in your area who studies under him?
The student : Shaykh, there are people who study under him, but those who study under him are also, well, you come to take the knowledge they have acquired.

The Shaykh : Well, what is his stance toward them?
The student : He does not speak about them; it is as if there is no Salafiyyah at all.

The Shaykh : Well, do you not see that it would be more beneficial for you, since you came here to contact Al-Albani and complain to him about this matter, that it would be closer to contact Mahmud 'Atiyyah, since I think he is still in Dubai, as far as you know?
The student : He is in Sharjah, in Sharjah, Shaykh.

The Shaykh : No, in Dubai. Well, do you know 'Ali Khashan?
The student : No, by Allah.

The Shaykh : I advise you, and it is not difficult or far for you, to visit these two brothers. Both of them are considered my brothers and my students in one respect, and each of them is also a son-in-law to us, since each of them married a daughter of one of my brothers. I advise you to visit them whenever the opportunity arises. Perhaps you can drive, and you have a car, or do you not?
The student : I am Jordanian, Shaykh, not Emirati.

The Shaykh : Are you not a resident there?
The student : Yes, I am a resident there.

The Shaykh : It is not necessary. We used to reside in Saudi Arabia and we had a car. Do you not have a car?
The student : No, Shaykh.

The Shaykh : And do you reside with your father? Do you reside with your father there?
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : How is your father regarding the da'wah?
The student : By Allah, he is like the rest of the fathers, may Allah bless him.

The Shaykh : May Allah will that he is not a stumbling block in your path?
The student : No, Shaykh.

The Shaykh : This is at least the case.
The student : ... the matter of studying.

The Shaykh : Well, are you not able to visit these two brothers every week, every month?
The student : Yes, Shaykh, it is possible.

The Shaykh : Then, well, I advise you to do this.
The student : He is currently, our Shaykh, residing here. His father sent him to study. He wanted to study in the College of Islamic Principles, but his family did not agree, and they placed him in a second college.

The Shaykh : Here.
The student : Yes, it is co-educational, and he is confused. Even when he was in the college, he paid ... for the Shariah, and he found himself to be the only young man in the Shariah college, with girls alongside him.

The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
The student : They changed it now; he studies computer science. He tells you that in the computer department there are at least some young men and girls, and so on. But there, the girls are present, and he is the only young man.

The Shaykh : Strange.
The student : Yes, by Allah. What is the college?

The questioner : The University of Applied Sciences, and therefore ...
