Ruling on the use of face masks by a person in the state of ihram

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: Are the masks that a doctor uses in his work and places over his mouth and nose considered covering the face for a person in the state of ihram? Please inform us. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer: Yes, it is not permissible and should not be done; because it covers about half of the face, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
cover neither his head nor his faceلا تخمروا رأسه ولا وجهه
Sahih Muslim 1206f
meaning for the person in the state of ihram whose mount has strayed.
