The Shaykh : If he intends this without a condition, meaning he intends in his heart that he will marry her for one month as long as he is in this country and then divorce her, the school of thought holds that this is not permissible. The school of thought holds that this is forbidden because if he conceals it in his heart without making it explicit, it is deception and trickery toward the wife and her family. And if he makes it explicit and shows it, it becomes temporary marriage (mut'ah). And because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said Sahih al-Bukhari 1 and this was not intended as a wife, but rather as a temporary marriage. And because whoever intends to facilitate a marriage (tahleel), as mentioned earlier, his marriage is invalid, for actions are by intentions. So likewise, whoever intends temporary marriage, his marriage is invalid. But if it were said that the marriage is valid but he sins because it is deception, that would have a basis. That is, if someone were to proceed with this and not inform the wife or her guardians of it, but when he entered upon her, he desired her and wanted her to remain. According to the school of thought, we say the marriage is invalid and separation is obligatory. And according to what we see, the marriage is valid, and he should repent to Allah the Exalted for what he concealed. But we do not encourage this thing because it is forbidden in principle. Then, some people began, and may Allah protect us, to exploit this opinion for open fornication. Some people, and may Allah protect us, who do not fear Allah or be mindful of Him, go abroad for the purpose of marrying someone who is not for a legitimate reason, meaning it is not that he is a stranger in the country seeking a livelihood or seeking knowledge and feared temptation, so he married. No, he himself promotes it in order to marry and says that a marriage with the intention of divorce is permissible. And we have heard this from some people who go to specific, well-known countries, and may Allah protect us from immorality, saying, "I will go during the vacation to relax, see people, and marry." Some of them even say they marry more than ten women in a period of twenty days because they do not fear Allah and do not observe the waiting period or anything else. Or he says, "I have divorced you with three divorces, and the three are final, and the finally divorced is like one who does not exist," so he becomes a jurist, may Allah protect us, according to his desire, one of the most learned of the jurists. Yes, this is also forbidden and not permissible. And therefore, we must say that this is forbidden and prohibited, even if it is permissible from a theoretical perspective, it must be prohibited from an educational perspective because it has become a means to open sinfulness and immorality. We ask Allah for well-being. And we stop at the invalid condition that does not invalidate, if Allah wills. And we hope to Allah, the Sublime and Exalted, that ... and that you are well, and that we begin with it, if Allah wills, in the upcoming vacation. We ask Allah to let us and you enjoy an increase in righteous deeds. Yes?
