Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The brother M. M. H. from Port Sudan in the Republic of Sudan says in his question: What is the ruling on raising the voice when reciting the Qur'an before prayer?

Answer:
He should not raise his voice if there is anyone else present; rather, he should recite to himself so as not to harm people, nor distract the worshippers, nor distract the reciters. However, he may raise his voice slightly.
