The Shaykh : The truth is that one should look into the actions of the administrator to see whether he is acting in accordance with the condition or not, because not every administrator of an endowment who is entrusted with it is trustworthy; he may betray the trust and divert the endowment to something other than what was stipulated for it. For this reason, we say that the judge has the authority to look into the endowments to ensure they are managed according to their conditions.
