Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is the term "evil" applied to a person's nature, as in "this person is inherently evil"?

Answer:
It depends on his condition, just as it is said: the disbeliever is evil, the hypocrite is evil, the word is evil if it is bad, and the deed is evil if it is a sin:
makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evilوَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْخَبَائِثَ
