Question:
The questioner (S. A. S. A) sent a message containing a collection of questions, one of which reads: What is the degree of authenticity of this hadith? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever sends blessings upon me a thousand times in a day will not die until he is given glad tidings of Paradise
?

Answer:
I do not know of any basis for it as a hadith. However, sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is prescribed, and great good is hoped for the one who does so, even if it is less than a thousand times, even if it is ten times, or even if it is just once. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He who blesses me once, Allah would bless him ten times.
Sahih Muslim 408
So, it is prescribed for every Muslim man and woman to send much blessings and peace upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at all times. As for mentioning a thousand times with this specific wording, we do not know of any basis for it. But it is prescribed for the Muslim man and woman to send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at all times, night and day, and especially on Friday. It is prescribed to send much blessings and peace upon him on Friday, because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
It was narrated that Shaddad bin Aws said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The best of your days is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it the Trumpet will be blown, on it all creatures will swoon. So send a great deal of peace and blessings upon me on that day, for your peace and blessings will be presented to me.’ A man said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, how will our peace and blessings be shown to you when you will have disintegrated?’ He said: ‘Allah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets.’”
Sunan Ibn Majah 1085Da’if (Darussalam)
.
The point is that sending blessings upon him (peace and blessings be upon him) is prescribed at all times, especially when he is mentioned; when his name is mentioned, one should send blessings upon him. On Friday, one should send much blessings and peace upon him. After the adhan and iqamah, the mu'adhdhin and the one who gives the iqamah should be responded to. Then, after it ends, one says: There is no god but Allah, sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and then says:
Sunan an-Nasa'i 680Sahih (Darussalam)
This is a sunnah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever says, when he hears the call to prayer: "Allahumma rabba hadhihid-da'wat it-tammah was-salat il-qaimah, ati Muahmmadan al-wasilah wal-fadilah, wab'athu maqaman mahmudan alladhi wa'adtahu (O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the prayer to be offered, grant Muhammad the privilege (of interceding) and also the eminence, and resurrect him to the praised position that you have promised),' will be granted my intercession on the Day of Resurrection.
Sunan an-Nasa'i 680Sahih (Darussalam)
This is a great virtue. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When you hear the Mu'adhdhin, repeat what he says, then invoke a blessing on me, for everyone who invokes a blessing on me will receive ten blessings from Allah; then beg from Allah al-Wasila for me, which is a rank in Paradise fitting for only one of Allah's servants, and I hope that I may be that one. If anyone who asks that I be given the Wasila, he will be assured of my intercession.
Sahih Muslim 384
This is a great virtue. So, it is prescribed for the believing man and woman to send much blessings in this worship after the adhan and iqamah.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
