Ruling on Digging Up Graves

Question:
He says: I was working for a man on a farm, and it was told to him that there are two graves in this farm, so he ordered me to dig them up and move the bones to another place. Am I sinful, given the situation as described?

Answer:
If the two graves are not within a cemetery, there is no harm in digging them up and moving their remains to the public cemetery, in two pits, each grave in a pit that is level so that it is like the other graves, so that they are not desecrated. That is, the remains of each grave are moved to a separate pit in the public cemetery, because their presence in the farm may lead to their desecration and people treading on them, so they should be moved in this case.
As for if they are within an existing cemetery, it is obligatory for the owner of the farm to stay away from the entire cemetery, and not to dig anything from it, and not to desecrate it, because it predates him, so it has more right to its place, and he should seek another place that has no graves. Yes.
