Is there a prayer called the Sunnah of Zamzam?
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner says: I have seen many women—may Allah guide them—inside the Zamzam area in the Haram praying on the steps opposite the cooling pipes, as it appears to me. They claim that this is a Sunnah, the Sunnah of Zamzam. When we forbade them from doing so, they did not listen, and perhaps they spoke insolently. Is this correct, O honorable Shaykh?
Answer:
It is not correct. There is no Sunnah for Zamzam; it has no Sunnah. It is obligatory for them to pray behind the men in any place in the Sacred Mosque. They should look for a place behind the men and pray there. They should not pray in Zamzam, and they should not bother people. There is no specific prayer for Zamzam. All of this is false and has no basis. Yes.
The presenter : May Allah bless you.
