What is the response to those who say that the hadith prohibiting fasting on Saturday has been abrogated by the statement of some of the Companions (he used to fast on Saturday)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : So now, regarding those who say that the hadith about Saturday has been abrogated, what abrogated it? There is nothing except the hadith that the Messenger of Allah
He used to fast or fasted on Saturday كان يصوم أو صام السبت
This is assuming we accept its authenticity, and there is a discussion on this mentioned in some of my takhrij works. We do not have a clarification that this action of his (peace and blessings be upon him) occurred after the prohibition. Therefore, the hadith remains free from any contradiction between his action and his statement (peace and blessings be upon him). The matter is not like the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying while sitting, as mentioned by Ibn Taymiyyah. Nevertheless, regarding this specific issue, I am adding what I omitted to mention earlier. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani mentions a narration that I used to follow out of respect for his knowledge, but then I found what he mentioned in the book of the compiler, 'Abd al-Razzaq, after it was printed, and praise be to Allah. Al-Hafiz mentions, and we saw this in the same book, that he narrated with a sound chain that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said this hadith in that incident, the incident of his praying while sitting during the illness of his death:
and if he prays sitting down then pray sitting down. وإذا صلَّى قاعدًا فصلُّوا قعودًا أجمعين
Sunan Ibn Majah 1238Sahih (Darussalam)
This is a hadith with a sound chain, but it is mursal. If it were musnad, the interpretation adopted by Ibn Taymiyyah, citing Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on them all), would be negated. The point is that in the hadith about Saturday, there is no indication that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fasted on Saturday, with the note that there is weakness in the authenticity of the hadith that he fasted after he had prohibited it. Therefore, fasting on Saturday remains without any contradiction. And here we say something to remind the students of knowledge—please, eat, because the adhan may be near, and Allah knows best.

The questioner : The issue of sitting behind the imam remains.
