Does the prayer become invalid by committing some forbidden acts?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was received from the listener 'Abd al-Muhsin Rajih from Taiz, Yemen, in which he asks some questions. In his first question, he says: Does the prayer become invalid by committing some forbidden acts?

Answer:
This requires a detailed explanation: If committing some forbidden acts is done within the prayer, this invalidates it. For example: speaking in the prayer, or laughing in the prayer, or insulting someone in the prayer; this invalidates the prayer.
As for if one commits a sin outside the prayer, sins committed outside the prayer do not invalidate it. If one has a sin, such as insulting a person outside the prayer, or backbiting outside the prayer, or after the prayer, it does not invalidate it. Or, may Allah protect us, if one commits unlawful sexual intercourse outside the prayer, or drinks an intoxicant outside the prayer, it does not invalidate it, except for what is done within it. If one does within it what invalidates it from the invalidators of the prayer, such as intentional speech, or laughing, or excessive and continuous fidgeting, or eating, or drinking, this invalidates it. As for a sin before it or after it, it does not take one out of Islam, nor does it invalidate it if it is before it or after it. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
