The ruling on one who did not perform the 'Isha' prayer due to labor pains

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner, our sister from al-Qassim (N.A. H.), in her second question, mentions that she was struck by labor pains and the time for the 'Isha' prayer had entered. She says that because of the intensity of the pains, she was unable to pray. After Allah made it easy for her and she finished her forty days, she made up the prayer. Is her action valid?

Answer:
If the pain is accompanied by labor contractions and blood, then she owes no prayer; this is a consequence of post-natal bleeding. If labor contractions struck her and blood came out of her, and she was unable to pray, this becomes part of the post-natal bleeding and is ruled upon as a consequence of it, so she owes no making up of the prayer. However, if it is not so, and it is only pains with no labor contractions or blood, she must make it up. If it is... she must make it up, just as she did. But if it is not so, and she felt the labor contractions and blood came out, then this woman owes no making up of that prayer which she left after the presence of labor contractions and the emergence of blood. Yes.
