The ruling on one who vows to fast from speaking and does not fulfill his vow

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
One of the female listeners from Iraq says: The Muslim woman (F. T. 'A.) from Mosul, Iraq, says: She vowed to fast from speaking for three days, but she was unable to do so. What should she do?
Answer: This is a disliked vow. She should expiate it with the expiation for an oath and not refrain from speaking. A man vowed during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) not to speak, so the Prophet ordered him to speak, because this is an abomination, and he must pay the expiation for an oath.
