The ruling on claiming that extracting the four canine teeth is a Sunnah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener: Ali Muhammad Ibrahim from Libya sent three questions. In one of his questions, he says: Some of the people of the Sunnah extract their four canine teeth following the example of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). What do you say about the one who does that?

Answer:
This has no basis; this is an error. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not extract them. They were broken on the Day of Uhud, and it was not by his choice. A person does not extract his teeth without a cause. However, if there is a cause, meaning: it causes him pain, then extracting it because of the pain is permissible. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
