The Establishment of the Appearance of the Expected Mahdi According to the People of the Sunnah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The question from the sister, Umm al-Sabah Muhammad Ali, from Iraq, the second one, says: Is it true that the Expected Mahdi will appear, or is it a religious innovation? Knowing that there are no prophetic miracles after the death of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), please guide us. May Allah reward you with good for us, with greetings?
Answer: The Expected Mahdi is true, and he will appear in the end times, near the emergence of the Dajjal, and before the descent of Isa (Jesus), when there is disagreement among people, upon the death of a caliph. The Mahdi will emerge and be pledged allegiance to, and he will establish justice among the people for seven or nine years. In his time, Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) will descend. This is what has come in many hadiths. As for the Mahdi claimed by the Rafidah, this has no basis. The Mahdi of the Rafidah Shi'ah, the one associated with the underground chamber, has no basis with the scholars of knowledge; rather, it is a superstition with no foundation or truth. As for the Expected Mahdi who has come in the authentic hadiths, and who is from the household of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), from the children of Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), and whose name is Muhammad and whose father is Abdullah, this is the truth, and it has come in the authentic hadiths. It will occur in the end times, and due to his emergence and the pledge of allegiance to him, benefits will be realized for the Muslims, such as establishing justice, spreading the Shari'ah, and removing oppression from the people. It came in the hadith:
It will fill the earth with justice after it was filled with oppressionأنها تملأ الأرض عدلاً بعدما ملئت جوراً
in his time, and that he will emerge when there is fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) among people and disagreement following the death of the current caliph, so the people of faith and justice will pledge allegiance to him; because of the good and uprightness that appears to them in him, and that he is from the house of prophethood. Yes.
