The Ruling on Eating and Drinking After Ablution

Is it permissible to eat or drink immediately after performing ablution and before prayer?

Answer: Eating and drinking do not invalidate the ablution. However, if the food or drink contains camel meat, then camel meat invalidates the ablution. The meat of the camel, whether male or female, whether a male camel or a female camel, is what invalidates the ablution, based on the explicit statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). As for the meat of sheep, cattle, or game, it does not invalidate the ablution.
