The questioner: So he tried, and I pushed him back forcefully, I mean.

The Shaykh: Where? There?

The questioner: In Makkah.

The Shaykh: Yes, there are many of them there.

The questioner: After this, our Shaykh, he threatened me, saying that after the prayer ends, he will bring the police and tell them he wants to handcuff me and such, and he threatened me.

The Shaykh: Allah is the Greatest!

The questioner: ... I left him ...

The Shaykh: The first Hajj I performed, a story happened to me, but its outcome was good from a scholarly perspective. I performed the arrival tawaf and came to the Maqam to pray the two rak'ahs of tawaf, and I remember clearly that day, the Egyptian men were wearing tarabush hats, today there are none, an elderly man without a tarabush, wearing a red tarabush, wanted to pass by, he was about to rush in, he started brushing against me while I was in prayer, he said, "O Shaykh, is it permissible here?" he wanted to pass, I did not let him pass, I was stubborn, until what? I finished the prayer. Praise be to Allah.
The student : May Allah have mercy on you.

The Shaykh: May Allah guide you and rectify your affairs. He started raising his voice, the one who usually stands there, I do not know if he is there now, there are guards there so that they can touch the Maqam...
The student: He is present.

The Shaykh: He shouted at me and said, "Come, let us ask the Shaykhs." I asked this guard, "Are there Shaykhs here?" He said, "Yes." That day, the Haram was before this expansion, this is the old one, there were rooms for some of the great Shaykhs, I mean, they directed me to a room, I entered the room, indeed many Shaykhs were gathered. We presented the issue to them and they differed, as is their custom, some said what this Egyptian was saying, and he argued with a hadith that I did not have knowledge of at that time, which is "that the Messenger (peace be upon him) prayed in the area around the Tawaf and people passed in front of him," so the one who agreed with the Egyptian argued with this hadith. I do not remember now if I said that the hadith is authentic or not, I asked them and they did not answer me. The important thing is that the Makkah Haram Library was in a large room of the old rooms, now it has been abolished.
The student : ... .

The Shaykh: No, it became part of the Haram. These rooms that were there became part of the Haram, and they moved the library outside, now where is the library?
The student: They demolished it and are now building tunnels.

The Shaykh: Okay, where did they take the library?
The student: After Hajj it was present... We came before...
