Q1: What is recited as supplication when slaughtering the 'Id al-Adha sacrifice?
A1: It is obligatory when slaughtering the 'Id al-Adha sacrifice to say: "In the name of Allah." It is recommended to say: "Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, this is from You and for You, so accept it from me," or "on behalf of so-and-so" if the sacrifice is for someone else. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
