Fatwa number ( 17804 )
Q: What is the ruling for one whose wudu' is broken during tawaf , who then goes to perform wudu' and completes the remaining rounds of tawaf? Is this action valid, given that I frequently break my wudu' because I am unable to maintain ritual purity?
A: If one's wudu' is broken during tawaf, his tawaf is invalid, and he must perform wudu' and restart the tawaf from the beginning. It is not permissible for him to build upon the initial rounds. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
