A : If a pilgrim lands at the airport in Jeddah and intends to go from Jeddah to al-Madinah before Hajj, then when he finishes his visit to al-Madinah and then wishes to return to Makkah to perform Hajj or 'Umrah, he enters the state of ihram from the miqat of the people of al-Madinah , " Dhul-Hulayfah ," which is called " Abwa' Ali "; because his ruling is the ruling of the people of al-Madinah ; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the miqats:Sahih Muslim 1181a The hadith is agreed upon as authentic.
