Q2: What is the ruling on directing the zakah of gold to Bosnia and Herzegovina ? Given that there are no relatives to whom I can give it
A2 : Zakah is to be given to the poor of the country; if there are no poor in the country, it is to be given to the poor of the nearest country to it; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih Muslim 19a And if it is confirmed that the zakah to Bosnia and Herzegovina
will reach its rightful recipients among the people entitled to zakah, then there is no harm in sending it to them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
