In Makkah, does a hotel resident pray with the imam of the Haram?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon the one after whom there is no prophet. After that: The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta has reviewed what
was sent to His Eminence the Grand Mufti from the questioner: Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman Abu Harbah , Deputy General Manager of the Dar al-Tawhid Hotel in Makkah al-Mukarramah , and referred to the Committee by the General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars with number (133) and date 23/1/1427 AH. The questioner asked a question, the text of which is as follows: I offer to Your Eminence the highest expressions of congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the new Hijri year. We ask Your Eminence to kindly inform us regarding a matter that is frequently asked by our honored guests about the permissibility of praying in the hotel prayer hall, knowing that this prayer hall overlooks the courtyard of al-Masjid al-Haram and is connected to it via audio equipment, with a clear view of the courtyard of the Noble Makkah Haram and the worshippers therein, and their continuous rows without any barrier between them. The question here is: Is it permissible to pray the obligatory prayer by hearing the voice of the imam of the Makkah Haram through the audio equipment connected from the Makkah Haram ? Knowing that we can see the worshippers in the Haram courtyard but without seeing the imam. We ask Your Eminity, may Allah prolong your life, to kindly respond to this question if possible; due to its importance. May Allah reward us with the best reward, and accept from Your Eminence my sincere greetings.

After the Committee’s study of the inquiry, it answered that as long as the worshippers in the prayer hall located next to al-Masjid al-Haram and overlooking its courtyard, and who see the worshippers
following the imam in front of them, with their rows connected, and who hear the voice of the imam transmitted through the sound amplification equipment connected from the mosque, then it is permissible to pray in the aforementioned prayer hall while following the imam of the Makkah Haram.
