Disagreement over determining the qiblah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q2: I disagree with my father regarding the qiblah at prayer times. It may be that I am correct, and Allah knows best. I have taken him to the mosques and he is convinced by that, but when we pray at home, he sometimes reverts to stubbornness. He is advanced in age, approximately one hundred years old. What is the ruling in this matter, and should I obey him in this?
A2: If you know that the qiblah is in a direction other than the one your father believes it to be, you must explain this to him gently and warn him against being stubborn in an important matter such as determining the qiblah. If he does not respond to you, then act according to what you know, and it is forbidden for you to obey him, for there is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to the Creator.
