As for the forest (8 million), it is spent on it only, and the rest is for the shop. Is it permissible for him to pay zakah or not?
A: Zakah is obligatory in wealth, such as currency, paper, and the like, and in goods for trade if it reaches the nisab (minimum threshold for zakah) by itself or by combining it with other zakatable wealth, if a lunar year has passed over it. Debt does not prevent the obligation of zakah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
