A 2: The Prayer of the Rosary is a voluntary prayer, like the rawatib (the regular voluntary prayers attached to the obligatory ones) that accompany the obligatory prayers, and like the Duha prayer and other voluntary prayers. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
