Does the imam return to his place immediately upon the tasbih if he forgets and stands up for an extra rak'ah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 19687 )
Q2: If the imam forgets and stands up for an extra rak'ah, does he return to his place immediately upon the tasbih, or does he complete the prayer with them and then perform the prostration of forgetfulness?
Volume 2: If the imam stands up to add to the prayer and then becomes aware of it, or is alerted by the people praying behind him, it is obligatory for him to return and sit for the tashahhud, then say the taslim and prostrate twice for forgetfulness after the salam. If he prostrates before the salam, that is permissible. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
