Wiping the forehead of the dust and the like that has stuck to it after prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 19172 )
Q 3: I have a friend who constantly advises me not to wipe the dust stuck to my forehead from the mosque carpets after prayer. He used to tell me: “This is an honor and light upon your face.” And deep down, I feel that there is showing off (riya') in that?
A 3 : There is no harm in wiping the forehead of the dust and the like that has stuck to it after prayer, and leaving it there is not part of the Sunnah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
