Holding more than one congregation in a single building

Fatwa number ( 21904 )
Q: We inform Your Eminence that in the Subscriber Services Administration building of the Saudi Communications Company in Abha , there is a general prayer hall on the middle floor, equipped with Qur'ans, a loudspeaker, and prayer mats. However, prayer is still being held in some of the departments within the same building, each separately, citing the pressure of work. We seek your ruling, may Allah reward you, on the permissibility of holding more than one congregation in a single building , and may Allah reward you with good.
A: It is obligatory for you to pray together in the general prayer hall of the building, and it is not permissible for you to divide into separate congregations without dire necessity. This is if it is difficult for you to pray in the mosque; because our religion encourages gathering and forbids division.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
