It is obligatory to remove from the body any substances that prevent water from reaching it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 14313 )
Q2: When I use certain oils, plaster, or welding materials, I remove them. However, sometimes after performing some of the obligatory prayers, I find a piece of welding material or something else that has not been removed, knowing that water does not penetrate the welding material. What is the ruling on my prayer? Do I have to repeat it? Please inform us; may Allah reward you and benefit us through you.
A2: It is obligatory for you, when performing wudu, to remove anything that prevents water from reaching the skin. If you perform wudu and pray, and then find that a part of the area where wudu is required contains something that prevents water from reaching the skin, the prayer is not
valid. It is obligatory to remove what prevents the water, then perform wudu and repeat the prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
