Separating from the congregation in a distant row due to sensitivity to air conditioning

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 21897 )
Q: I suffer from severe respiratory sensitivity, and I sometimes feel pain. Air conditioning units bother me. There is a mosque about five kilometers from my home, and at the back of the mosque, the air conditioning units are not turned on. Is it permissible for me to pray at the back of the mosque where the
air conditioning units are not turned on
with my sons, in a row separate from the other rows, and follow the imam when the prayer is established; perhaps it is better than praying at home because of my health conditions, and by doing so, we obtain the virtue of praying in congregation, if Allah wills?

A: If the situation is as you described regarding your medical condition, and there is no mosque near you that is free from the cooling that affects you, then there is no harm in praying in the place within the aforementioned mosque that has no cooling. However, you must have someone with you who removes the state of isolation; for Allah the Exalted said:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[At-Taghabun 64:16]
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
