Q 9: There are people who are constant in reading Surat al-Kahf on Friday, and they say to the one who does not read it: Read Surat al-Kahf every Friday; because reading it is a virtue, and the one who reads it is better than the one who does not read it, even if he reads the rest of the Qur'an, and the one who does not read it has a deficiency in his reward, even if he reads the Qur'an from beginning to end?
A 9: Reading Surat al-Kahf on Friday is recommended; because hadiths have come regarding this from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), among them:Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 25:518 narrated by al-Nasa'i and al-Hakim in his (Sahih), and its chain is good.
