The obligatory prayer behind the one praying a voluntary prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 19318 )
Q1: We were praying Tarawih in congregation in the mosque, and during the prayer, another congregation was established for the Isha prayer, so we did not focus on the prayer until the Isha prayer ended. What is the correct course of action in such a case? Is it to enter the Tarawih prayer with the intention of Isha, or is it correct to wait after Tarawih ends, or is what they did correct?
A1 : One who missed the Isha prayer and found the congregation praying
Tarawih has the choice between praying Isha alone or with a group like him who missed the prayer, and entering with the imam who is praying Tarawih with the intention of the Isha prayer. When the imam says the taslim, he stands up and completes his prayer; because the correct of the two opinions of the scholars is the validity of the prayer of one who is praying an obligatory prayer behind one who is praying a voluntary prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
