Facing the direction of the qiblah is a condition for the validity of the prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 16003 )
Q: I am a young Muslim who has been living in the Netherlands for a year. I am currently residing in a place where there are no mosques at all, and I pray at home, but I do not know if the qiblah is correct or not. What should I do? I also cannot find work in another city.
A: Facing the direction of the qiblah is a condition for the validity of the prayer for one who is far from it. You should ask Islamic centers about it, or use a compass or other means that help determine the direction of the qiblah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
