Q: There are some of the partisans who call for Islamic rule , but they are completely contrary to that, for they have diluted Islam, and anyone who
does not hold their ideas is an enemy of Islam, even if their disagreement is with the Book and the Sunnah. This is in addition to the intense hatred they harbor for the people of the Sunnah and the community, and even more so for the Salafis. They slander and curse them, to the point that they have cursed the scholars, saying: "They are old-fashioned fanatics." Is it permissible to be loyal to them and advise them, or should they be rebuked by boycotting them?
A: As for the caller who does not follow the methodology of the Messengers and the methodology of their followers in da'wah, but instead follows the methodology of the misguided, innovating sects, such as the Khawarij and the Mu'tazilah, it is not permissible for you to keep his company or to affiliate with him. Rather, it is obligatory for you to disapprove of him and warn people against him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
