The Harm Caused to Colleagues

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 11499 )
Q: I would like to present my problem to you in a detailed letter, regarding what happened to me and what actually occurred with me. First: I am a person of a certain degree of faith, praise be to Allah, but my Shaytan was very, very difficult. However, in the recent period, for days, he went around in my mind, turning and going wherever he wanted to direct me. Among the dangers he put me in, the beginning was that we work as a group together, in one institution, but Allah willed that some of our colleagues' salaries increased, while others were provided for like that, but my salary did not increase like my colleague's, and it went around in my mind
to take revenge on my manager and the colleagues around me. One day, I caused trouble for my manager, and during the investigation, I caused trouble again for a colleague of mine. They are very good people. The result of this trouble was that everyone moved from the place, each one to a place far from the other. But the Lord, Glorified and Exalted is He, did not find my transfer sufficient and equivalent as a punishment for me. One of my colleagues whom I caused trouble for was working after the official working hours... etc.

A : First: It is obligatory for you to repent to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, from the harm you caused to your colleagues at work, by ceasing it, feeling regret for what happened, and resolving not to return to it. Second: It is obligatory for you to reconcile with your colleagues, seek their forgiveness for what happened, do much good deeds, and be kind to your colleagues, neighbors, and all people. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
